Originally a multi-use farm with prunes and walnuts, the ranch transitioned to viticulture in the 1970s under George Hendry, who began selling grapes to notable producers like Robert Mondavi. George, a particle physicist by training, eventually launched the family’s own label, producing his first vintage in 1992 and establishing the winery in 2000. The estate is located in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains, the 203 acre property features 114 acres under vine.
