Clos du Clocher

The Clos du Clocher vineyard extends over 5.90 hectares of vines with an average age of 33 years. Located on the Pomerol plateau, facing the church, the vineyard enjoys an exceptional location. The vines of Clos du Clocher are planted on clay-lime soils resting on subsoils of blue clays and deep gravels. Committed to a global environmental policy, the vineyard is managed with reasoned viticulture.

The nose opens with intense aromas of wild strawberry and blackberry, gradually unfolding into delicate floral notes of iris and violet, a hallmark of the style. On the palate, the wine is elegant and lively, with a dense core and finely structured tannins that show a firm yet balanced grain. The finish is long and persistent, lifted by fresh graphite notes, revealing a fleshy, deep and age-worthy expression.
