Il Tralcetto Refosco Friuli Grave DOC

After crushing and destemming, follows 3/4 days pre-fermentative maceration. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations last 15 day at controlled temperature of maximum 21/22° C. After ranking, 8 months ageing occurs in oak casks, then 6 months in bottle.

A deep ruby-red wine with a complex and expressive bouquet of ripe berry fruits, layered with subtle spice and well-integrated oak notes. The palate faithfully reflects the aromas, offering flavours of juicy dark fruits, hints of jam, sweet spice and gentle toast. Smooth and silky in texture, it is lifted by a vibrant natural acidity that brings freshness and balance. The finish is long, harmonious and pleasantly persistent.
