With this single-vineyard wine, we want to highlight an extraordinary, privileged vineyard, meticulously cared for. A place steeped in history, through which the Camino de Santiago passes. Located in the municipality of Villafranca del Bierzo, very close to the village of Valtuille de Abajo.
The vines are 88 years old 3,3Ha. Northeast orientation Plow with mules. The soil type is loam with clays and sands. Organic farmed. Grapes are hand-picked, it undergoes spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aging in French oak barrels and Austrian Foudre for 12 months.
This wine boasts a vibrant and fragrant aroma. Intense notes of violet, cherry, and red currant give way to a flavorful palate. Silky, velvety tannins with hints of bay leaf and black tea combine with a subtle oak presence.
