LAS GUNDIÑAS Tinto Vino de Paraje

Las Gundinas is an extraordinary single vineyard in Villafranca del Bierzo, rooted in a historic landscape along the Camino de Santiago and meticulously cared for, located near the village of Valtuille de Abajo.

The vines are 88 years old 3,3Ha. Northeast orientation Plow with mules. The soil type is loam with clays and sands. Organic farmed. Grapes are hand-picked, it undergoes spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aging in French oak barrels and Austrian Foudre for 12 months.

This wine boasts a vibrant and fragrant aroma. Intense notes of violet, cherry, and red currant give way to a flavorful palate. Silky, velvety tannins with hints of bay leaf and black tea combine with a subtle oak presence.
