Maturana tinta de Navarrete or Navarreteña is a minority in Rioja and it was recovered from old vineyards in Navarrete.
This wine comes from a small vineyard in Navarrete, with a total of 1.480 vines. Planted in 2014. Red clay and iron soil on alluvial subsoil. 550 m of altitude. E-W oriented. Organic farming The vintage 2023 was dry until September, when the rain arrived and the harvest was earlier than ever. The wines are easy drinking.

Hand picking in 18 kg crates. Destemmed, not crushed. Spontaneous fermentation in 1.000L open vats Malolactic fermentation and 12 months of aging in
older oak barrels.
Deep cherry red colour Mineral and spicy hints on the nose that, as the wine opens, reveal aromas reminding the grape variety. Elegant on the palate, lively, with great flavor and silky tannins.
