Petit Verdot

A hot and relatively dry summer; the ideal growing season. Perfect conditions for later ripening varieties. Narrow picking windows were the story of the vintage, requiring attentiveness, patience and agility in the vineyard.

This wine was aged for 19 months in new French and American oak barrels. A portion of this wine was made using dried grapes.

Aromas of dark cherry syrup, cedar and iron fill the glass. The palate is ruch with dried black currants and oak tannin.
