Singular and uncommon, this colorful and powerful maceration rosé is a paradox of strength and finesse. A wonderful Pinot Noir to enjoy with fine food.

Harvested manually in successive passes according to grape ripeness, with sorting carried out directly in the vineyard, the grapes are transported immediately to the winery in perforated boxes. A second manual sorting takes place on a mat, followed by gravity-fed vatting of the whole harvest. Around one-fifth of the volume undergoes foot treading, with a short semi-carbonic maceration of 3 to 4 days, alongside daily pumping over and run-off. Alcoholic fermentation is split between tank (75%) and Burgundy barrels (25%), followed by natural malolactic fermentation and slight sulphiting. The wine is then aged for 10 months, with 80% in tanks and 20% in Burgundy barrels, before further bottle aging for 2 years to build complexity.
Clear carmine red in colour with ruby highlights, the wine shows a fresh and complex nose of cherry and wild berries, with light notes of fresh almond and white pepper. The palate is intense and lively, opening with redcurrant and leading to a tart finish marked by raspberry and lingering hints of violet. Best enjoyed between 3 to 5 years for its youthful fruit, or between 8 to 10 years for added complexity, with proven ageing potential over the long term.
