Rosado Arabako Txakolina

ARTOMAÑA (Arrastaria Valley - Álava). Handling of own vineyards based on a winegrowing of minimum and reasoned intervention. Vineyards are located at a parcel sited in Artomaña (Arrastaria Valley). Soils are semi-deep and of alluvial nature with a climatology between Atlantic and Continental, depending on the vintage.

Destemmed, gentle pressing (58% maximum) in horizontal pneumatic press. Fermented in 1000 litre stainless steel tank. 5 months on fine lees. Malolactic fermentation.

Bright pink colour that reminds us of onion skin. On the nose, it has a fresh aroma of red fruits, among which currants, cherries and strawberries stand out. Hints of green pepper, herbs and floral notes of roses. Full-bodied, gastronomic, long and complex wine with a fruity flavour and good structure. It has a pleasant acidity typical of the variety that is reminiscent of red fruit, but also with a sweeter touch and hints of minerals and smoke.
