VINHA DA TORRE

Poeira Vinha da Torre 2018 is a rare and deeply elegant wine, from a special vineyard located in Covas do Douro, planted in 1950 . This old vineyard, located at an altitude of 400 meters, was carefully chosen by Jorge Moreira for its ideal exposure, variety diversity and natural balance, perfectly aligning with the philosophy of Quinta do Poeira : to create intense wines, but always with freshness and precision.

A field blend of ancient grape varieties, vinified in a traditional lagar and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, Vinha da Torre reveals all the concentration and complexity of the Douro, but with an absolutely remarkable elegance and balance.

Deep, bright ruby. Fresh black fruits, violets, fine spices and an elegant earthy touch.  Silky texture, well-formed tannins, excellent acidity and a long, fresh and harmonious finish. A wine full of Douro soul, but without excesses
