VOM SCHIEFER Riesling Trocken

The Gut Hermannsberg "Vom Schiefer" is a wine with character. Its grapes come exclusively from our Monopollage, the Niederhausen Hermannsberg, and are handpicked from 10 to 30  year-old vines.

After selective hand harvesting and a short maceration period, spontaneous fermentation takes place, partially in stainless steel tanks and partially in traditional oak barrels. 

Our 2023 "Vom Schiefer" presents itself with yellow fruit flavors, hints of ripe stone fruit, and a subtle spiciness. Thanks to its fine and well-integrated acidity structure, as well as the typical minerality of the slate soil, our "Vom Schiefer" offers wonderful drinking pleasure. It not only shines on its own but also pairs excellently with food.
