Collection: Dianella

Fattoria Dianella is a historic winery rooted in Tuscany’s cultural and viticultural heritage. The estate centers around the Medici Villa of Dianella, dating back to the late 16th century, originally used as a hunting lodge and named after Diana, the goddess of the hunt. Today, under the care of Francesco and Veronica Passerin d’Entrèves, Dianella has been restored into a refined and welcoming estate that preserves its legacy of hospitality. Guided by the principle of “looking back to move forward,” Dianella is committed to organic viticulture, embracing traditional practices such as green manuring, manual harvesting, and vine training techniques that honor the land’s natural balance. All wines are estate-produced and certified organic, expressing the distinctive terroir of Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. A highlight is L’Orpicchio, a rare organic wine made from a rediscovered Trebbiano biotype cultivated on the estate. Limited to just 1,500 bottles annually, it reflects both innovation and tradition and was awarded the prestigious Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso in 2024. With a blend of history, culture, and sustainability, Dianella continues to craft wines that embody Tuscany’s elegance and authenticity.
